ComposTing Process Overview

As you can probably guess from the menu on  the left, the ComposT process includes the following steps in order:

        • 1 Dewatering - removing water from the biosolid waste generated during the wastewater treatment process
        • 2 Batch Mixing - combining of dewatered sludge with other media (typically sawdust)
        • 3 ComposTing - aeration, mixing, and decomposition
        • 4 Disinfection - self-induced sterilization
        • 5 Storage - 30 day storage for stabilization and for quality checking
